Well, it's almost time to send the kiddies back to school. I can't believe that it's that time of year again already. Seems like we just started summer vacation and it's over already. Time really does fly the older you get.
This is my last year of having 2 kids in school. I'm both excited, and saddened at the same time. But, now I'll be able to focus on my daughter who made the cheerleading squad this year. I'm so proud. I was never a cheerleader, I was one of the girls who taunted cheerleaders, and now my baby is one. Talk about irony.
For those of you out there who have small children in your home, relish the time you have with them. My mother and mother-in-law always told me that the time you have with them goes by way too fast, and they were so right. It's gone by way too fast.
If you're getting ready to send you baby off to school for the first time, take as many pictures as you can. The next thing you know is that they're all grown up and getting ready to leave home. Do whatever you can to walk along the journey with them, I promise that you will never regret it.

yes indeed! I can't believe my son is a Soph. and my daughter is starting 7th grade...all too fast. those "terrible twos" aren't looking so terrible from this vantage point! :)
Oh, I totally agree. What's scarier is that it won't be long and I'll be thinking in terms of "grandchildren". OMG
