Blogging for a cause

I’ve entered several contests in the past few weeks, but this one is for such a good cause, I’m posting it on all my blogs.

Mike and Tish of BlogsWeLuv will be blogging for a continuous 24 hours beginning 6am California time, for Blogathon 2007. They’re not just doing this for the love of blogging, they’re doing this for a great cause. They will be accepting donations for The Glaucoma Foundation. My husband’s best friend is plagued by glaucoma and I’ve seen how it affects people.

Here’s the contest part. Polli from Polliwog’s Pond has donated 12 pewter polliwogs to be given away during the blogathon. Also, I encourage everyone out there to make a small donation to The Glaucoma Foundation. For each $5 donation, you will receive one entry into a drawing for a $25 gift card from Amazon.com.

So I really hope everyone will come out and support Mike and Tish in their efforts to raise some money for this great charity, and to keep them awake as they blog their little fingers off.
Blogathon 2007 will begin on Saturday, July 28th at 6am PST or 9am EST. So come on out and help Mike and Tish with their efforts. I have a feeling the coffee industry may see a rise in their sales during that 24 hours. LOL
