Sassy Mama in L.A. Giveaway

Quickie giveaway notice.  The goddess known as Sassy Mama in L.A. is having a giveaway for 2 $25 Amazon gift cards.  But this isn't one of those giveaways where we have a lot of time as this one ends at 11:59 EST tonight (6-29-11).

Blog Bash 2011

Most people know how much I love a good giveaway.  But a giveaway with multiple sites and prizes in store is just that much better.  That's why I was so excited to hear about Blog Bash 2011.  This giveaway has over 120 blogs working together to hold a monster giveaway party.  And though I've seen the buttons on several blogs, I've got to start this one with the diva known as Simply Stacie.  I don't know why, but I love this lady.  She's got class, charm, and stuff to giveaway.  What more could a girl ask for?  LOL

I'll post a few of my favorites, but I don't know that I'll be able to account for all the sites entered into this giveaway.  And if you see my site one moment and it's only got a few sites mentioned, then you come back later and find out that there are a few more mentioned, it's because I may have to update this post as I go in case doing a blog post is one of the entries into someone's giveaway.  So here we go.

Let's start with Family Approve, as this is the lady who's actually putting on this fantastic party.  She's got a total of 7 prize packages she's giving away.  Some are US only, some are US and Canada only, but there is one that is an International giveaway.

Next is our girl Simply Stacie.  She's giving away a $100 gift certificate to Cutie Patootie Creations.  This is a cute little Etsy shop that does personalized T-shirts, tie-dies, personal invitations and more.  This giveaway is open worldwide.

One of the neatest ladies I've the pleasure to meet online in the past week runs a site called Whispered Thoughts.  She's got an awesome site, love the design, and she's giving away one of the coolest prizes EVER!!!!!  She's giving away a B&N Nook.  Seriously!!!!  Now there's a prize I could go out of my way to win.  LOL.  Not for me, silly heads.  I'd totally give it to my baby girl.  She wants one so bad she can't hardly stand it.  
Another very awesome lady I've met this week (thanks to the new Blogelina Community) is Chrissy from Musings of a Modern Mom.  An no, I'm not just saying she's awesome cause her name is my name too.  Okay, maybe, but she's still awesome.  LOL.  She's giving away 2 different prize packages and has a total of 7 sponsors.  She's got some very cool things in there. And finally, I've got to add Kelly's Lucky You.  This lady always puts on some killer giveaways, and this one is no different.  She's giving away 4 different pieces of jewelry to 1 lucky winner.  There are some beautiful pieces, including a necklace called The Heart of Haiti.  It's made from recycled drums, the kind they play on the islands.  I love that sound.  Stop by and check her out.

Spring Follower Giveaway Tour

Hey kids,
Boy do I have a blog event for you. I'm talking about the Spring Follower Giveaway Tour being hosted by Simply Stacie (one of my faves), Kelly's Lucky You, My Wee View, and Little Yaya's (another fave). These blogging divas have put together a killer event in conjunction with JoeShopping.com.

Now, first of all I have to say that up to this point I'd never heard of JoeShopping so had to check it out. From what I can tell so far it's a lot like MyPoints and/or Ebates. But the thing I'm liking about this site is that it's more like a social media space as I've already had people stop by and say hi and welcoming me to the place. Never got that from the other guys. I have to admit that I haven't purchased anything from this site yet, but I think I might have to give it a shot just to see what happens.

So anyway, you're here to hear about the giveaway event. And I know what you're thinking, what's the prize. I know, I know. I'm a bottom liner too. The grand prize for this one is an......(wait for it).......iPad 2. I'm telling ya, I'd do backflips in my ergonomic chair to win this bad boy. Might even cry a little (or a lot). But there are a few other cash prizes that I'd be just as happy to win. 2nd prize is $500 cash, 3rd is $350 cash, and 4th is $150 cash. I'd still be all giddy and stuff over that iPad. LOL
